Let's Go Shopping 4th Edition

Welcome to our 4th Edition of "Lets go Shopping".  Last week I went to Garden Ridge which is now called At Home.  It is basically the same store, but a little more organized.

Last year I looked ALL OVER for a pink Christmas tree for Avery.  The only ones I could find were tinsel ones which is not what I wanted....so when I saw this display at At Home I was super excited!!  I went ahead and bought her pink tree in August :)
The medium size ones (top row) were $29.99

I think they have amazing outdoor cushions.  They have great patterns and are a fraction of the price that you can find anywhere else!  They have about 20 options, but I really liked these next 2 patterns.

This mirror was a knock off of mirrors you find at Restoration Hardware, Z Gallerie and Wisteria for a fraction of the price!!  It was only $179.99.  I LOVE this mirror!  I have the Restoration Hardware ones in my Master Bathroom and in my dining room.  Mine was closer to $450/$500 vs this one!

Hands down they have the BEST SELECTION of lampshades!!!  There are tons, I mean tons to choose from, with great patterns/shapes AND they are really nice quality.  I have been on the hunt for lampshades for a project in Braden's Nursery and have seriously been all over...Homegoods, Target, Walmart, JCPenney, Pier One, Kirklands, you name it, and I found nothing that worked.  I went to At Home and found about 6 I liked!  I will post more about that project later.  Anyway...here are some of the great options I found:

Script Shade $12.99

Great selection of Burlap shades
Left $19.99
Middle $14.99
Right $12.99

Pleated Linen Shade $17.99

French Script Shade $14.99

Gold metallic painted shade $14.99 (picture doesn't do it justice)

 Canvas Rosette shade $24.99

Drum Shade $19.99

 Square shade $19.99

 Bird Shade $14.99

Burlap Fleur di Lis Shade $19.99

Fun shades
Green tailored shade with buttons on top $7.99
Brown shade with pearls $7.99

They even have great shades for kids!  Both of these options $9.99

Cute chandelier shade $4.99

Cute bird ceramic planter $7.99

Cute bookends.
Crown: $12.99
Fleur di Lis $14.99

They have an amazing selection of Christmas ornaments!  I fell in love with these for Braden's nursery tree!  I will post more about that at a later date, but these barn ones were just too cute!

I thought this was too cute!  I got one for both kids and will leave them little treats and notes in them from time to time. $4.99

After Garden Ridge/At Home I went to my home away from home....HomeGoods :)  You can seriously go to this store every single week and find amazing new finds!

I loved this metal and wood date thing.  $29.99

These cute storage boxes were $29.99 each

Wooden crates $16.99 & $24.99

Cute basket $16.99

Wooden. Distressed. Organized. Robin Egg Blue....all things I LOVE $29.99

Cute storage hooks $19.99

These cute "Organize" Crates almost went home with me!
They had a coordinating set that said "Storage".
$16.99, $19.99, $24.99

Thanks for going shopping with me!  Looking forward to our shopping date next week!

My House of Hargrove: New Guest Room

I had posted back in June that with the announcement of a new baby on the way it was time to do some re-arranging in our home.  The guest room was downstairs right off the kitchen and this was the perfect location for a kids playroom.  You can read all about that HERE.
I have been busy this summer working on 4 rooms.  Avery's Big Girl Room, Switching the Nursery to Braden's nursery and swapping the current guestroom upstairs to the bonus room and making the current guest room the playroom.  So....I have been making lots of progress and the new guest room is done!
You can see the original guest room HERE & HERE

As you head up our front stairs you can see the small balcony section leads over to a 5th bedroom....this is now the new Guestroom.

This is a view from that balcony looking down to our entryway.

This is the hallway leading into the guest room

Welcome to our new guestroom...
I pretty much moved everything from the old guestroom up to this room.  The layout of the room is a little different and the ceiling height is much lower, but I think it all works great.  Unfortunately, I had to cover one window with the headboard.  There was really no other way to lay out the room.

In the original guestroom the ceilings were really tall so the french mirror was on the wall above the dresser, but it wouldn't fit in this room.

I LOVE This wallpaper!  I have a really small section downstairs right in front of the old guest room, but this room has an entire wall of it!  It fits perfectly in this room!  So glad that it will be seen more now because you never really saw it when it was in the "bonus room"...we never went in there.  Click HERE for lots of Wallpaper ideas.

This is a view from the guestroom out into the hallway.

I was able to fit every piece into the new guestroom except one!  This white piece is now in my dining room.

Thanks for visiting our new guestroom.  If you have any questions post them in the comments below and I will get back to you.  Thanks

Homes I Love

By now yall are probably familiar with my obsession with the Tucker Hill neighborhood in McKinney.  We seriously considered moving there, but based on a few factors we picked Fairview.  None the less I LOVE the charm of this neighborhood!

One of our awesome followers messaged me last week to let me know that her house would be going on the market soon and she though I would like it....boy was she right!!  I LOVE the elevation of this house and she has many vintage decor items inside I am drooling over :)
If you live in the McKinney area and are looking for a house...check this one out.  If you don't live around here, enjoy the beautiful pictures and get inspired!!
Click HERE for a link with all the info on this beautiful home.

Ahh, I just love the white siding, shutters, landscape, huge porch, etc.  I would love to line the stairs with pumpkins in the fall!

OMG this room!!!!  It is huge and look at the decor!  I LOVE it!  A HUGE craft room!!  Amazing!

LOVE the distressed chair and I recognize those angel wings!  I had the same ones in Avery's nursery!

Look at this stunning backyard!  so beautiful!
Thanks Emily for sending me info on your stunning home!  I am sure it will sell super fast!  Excited to hear about your new home!  Sounds like it will be amazing as well!
